Stream of events entry today... just the things I did today... that's it.

Woke up, and my head was pounding for no particular reason. I hadn't been out drinking, I wasn't sick, I just hurt. Determined to enjoy this perfect fall day in spite of my pain, I climbed out of bed in St. Paul at around 9:00 AM, cleaned myself up, and stumbled down to Starbucks on Grand Avenue thinking that coffee might cure it. I know that I was raised better than to buy corporate coffee, but it was the closest cafe and I needed it badly. To make up for it, I'm writing this blog entry in a locally owned cafe. I kicked it there with my Grand Avenue people for about an hour while I read the paper. Hope hit me up on my cellie and made some plans to enjoy the weather and walk around Lake Calhoun. Booked myself back to Johnson's house and finished my laundry. Thought about getting my car washed and then thought better of it since it's just going to get messed up again this week I'm sure... snow, or sleet, or tree sap, or something. So, I cruised over to South Minneapolis - still with a monster headache - and met Hope. We hit the lake, and soaked up the fall colors and sunshine. It's probably one of the last warm weekends of the year, and Calhoun was the perfect place to be. Pretty chill afternoon... we scored a Jamba Juice that kicked my ass and cured my headache, then walked back to her place. We went to the ghetto Cub Foods on Nicollet, stocked up for the week, and heated up some leftovers for dinner. Also prepped some stuff for breakfast this week, including turkey sausages which I now reek of... yuck. Sigh... now just unwinding at the cafe down the street before bed... before work in the morning. Weekends go by too fast. Goodnight.
