I just noticed that it's been so long since I've posted that there's nothing actually showing up on my homepage! I'm not sure exactly how a whole month slipped away with me posting, but I guess it makes shouldn't surprise me. I haven't being writing enough, emailing friends enough, or picking up the phone enough for that matter. I promise that I'm going to be better at it soon, but all these changes the last many months have made me a bit of an introverted space cadet. So, I'll try to give a quick recap.

The biggest news of late is that Hope and I signed a lease on a very nice apartment in South Minneapolis a few weeks ago, and we're moving in on Saturday! I feel like a little bit of a sellout, living in Minneapolis and not Saint Paul, but I kind of needed to change things up. I lived in Saint Paul for twenty-one years before moving to Boston, so now it's time to Minneapolis a shot. Honestly, Minneapolis is perfect for me right now. I get to be home in Minnesota, with all my friends and family, but I also get to feel like I'm having an adventure... a new city for a new chapter. I'm totally hooked on the lakes, the restaurants, and even just walking around the neighborhood.

I'd be lying if I said work wasn't keeping me busy as well. I think that I'm finally over the initial hurdle of it being a new job, and having new guy anxiety. Now, it's starting to feel really good. I've got a bunch of exciting Linux projects in the works there, and everybody seems to be impressed with my work.

That's really about it. I'm just getting ready for the move and for the holidays. Big thanks in advance to Chris, Marie, Mike, Amanda, and Tony for helping us move!!! I'll try to write more after the move, write some new songs, and I'll probably even redesign the website... but till then I'm going to have my hands full.
